Completed in early 2011, an improved but unpaved new trail winds along Hanapueo Stream on the border of the botanical gardens. This trail allows visitors to view several waterfalls that descend into pools with prawns and other native fish. A wide variety of tropical trees and other native plants border the stream, giving guests the true feel of the rain forest as they wend their way beneath the sun-dappled canopy.
